This is indeed a very interesting topic! The way you gather your source was outstanding. It really did convinced me! And the matter of fact, I do think that there are another life in outer space. Think about it, there are millions of planet in the galaxy and there are supposed to be many solars system too, they are as much as Earth. There could not only our Earth has life on it, right?

First of all, I am a football fan too. I love football and enjoy it as much as I could, I personally like FC Barcelona.
Secondly, there was time, you would really upset because your favorite team was disadvantage due to wrong decision of the referees such as did not call for penalty when they was so obvious when you watch replay or they did not call for offside when the other team scored an important goal against your fav team.
There are millions of times happened like that and you was really upset, true? Because of those moments like that happened to your fav team or to other teams brought together your purest emotions or to other people. Tears, laugh, fury, anger, joys, That made it football, that made it a king sport.
Luckiness is an important element in football, it's an important element in everything we do. We have to accept it as a part of who we are. As referee as human too, he may have made mistakes, as we all do. If we use technology into football, will it bring us those emotions as it always did to us or it will take it away from us?

True, one of the main arguments against the introduction of the technology is as you say, that it may ruin the spectacle that the element of luck brings to the game, which has been a fundamental part of football for so long :-)
I can't agree however that there is no place for technology in football. The problem of immigration and the changes it is causing in our culture can be approached from many different angles. We could speak about the redefinition of America as a multicultural society instead of as a nation; or the permanent establishment of affirmative action programs for immigrants based on their race; or the town in Texas that declared Spanish its official language; or the thousands of Hispanics at an international soccer match in Los Angeles who booed and threw garbage at the American team; or the decline in educational and Environmental standards in areas dominated by Hispanics; or the Hmong people from Laos who bring shamans and witch doctors into hospital rooms. The relationship between the state and homosexuals is one with lots of scandal and controversy. At one end of the spectrum, you have people arguing that homosexuals have done nothing wrong and should be free to do as they like. At the other end, you have people who argue that we should just stone anyone caught committing homosexual acts.
There are certainly strong ethical reasons, from a religious point of view, for opposing homosexual behaviour. I personally believe homosexuality is immoral. But at the same time, as long as my own rights are not infringed by homosexual behaviour, I see no reason to forbid it.
From a policy standpoint, I see no reason to criminalise homosexuality. Any act between two consenting adults should be permitted, provided this act does not infringe on the rights of others.
